CommInsure wins big in recent industry awards
It's been a successful few weeks at CommInsure, with our people and products being recognised for four different industry wins.
On 15 March 2018, CommInsure won three awards at the Strategic Insight / AFA Life Company of the Year 2017 Awards, taking home wins in the Income Protection, Investment Bond and Annuity Income Stream Innovation categories.
Olivia Sarah-Le Lacheur, Head of Life Distribution, was excited to accept the award on behalf of CommInsure for the AFA Income Protection Award. The award was based on our Income Care Platinum Plan, which provides a three-tier Total Disability definition and a flexible waiting period. Carmel Breen, Product Manager, accepted the award on behalf of CommInsure for the Investment Bond of the Year Award, for an amazing 10 years running. CommInsure has held this Investment Bond award for longer than Australians have held their Apple iPhones! For more information on our Investment Growth Bond you can download the PDS from here.
Loretta Wheeler, Product Manager, accepted the award for the 2017 Annuities & Income Stream Innovation Award, for our 'Retire Smarter' - new strategies towards a comfortable retirement’ white paper by Professor David F Babbel. Finally, at the Financial Services Council's Life Insurance Awards on 20 March 2018, Julie-Ann MacCormick, who leads CommInsure's Rehabilitation team, took home an Industry Leader Award. Julie's proactive approach to end-to-end management of mental illness claims has seen her influence best practice standards across the Australian life insurance industry. Julie helped to establish CommInsure's award-winning Wellness Program, an early intervention rehabilitation service tailored to meet the unique recovery needs of customers with a psychological condition.
